I just got accepted for a rater position. However, I have to pass online exam. Is it difficult? Do you get paid for it? Thanks!

I got the form letter back from Lionbridge finally. I went ahead and applied even though I live in Kansas, because maybe things have changed. If they rule me out because of it and tell me so, I will report it here.

I'm not from one of the states mentioned above and received an email this morning that they will be reviewing my info as soon as possible. Lionbridge seems very solid as far as pay, hours and reliability of work so I'm keeping my fingers crossed, stay tuned!

I worked for LB for 5.5 years and it was a good experience.. For most of that time I was an employee and we got PTO and everything and then they switched us to ICs and I wasn't so thrilled about that. However, I never had any issues with the company itself. They were always pretty good about responding if you had any questions. Good luck, I hope you guys get picked up.

I received an automated reply saying they have a lot of applicants and they haven't forgotten about me. A template email. But that was 2 days ago, I haven't heard anything from them since then Pretty depressed here

They sent me a form letter and attached a copy of the same letter. I don't know if that was automatic, but I hope so.

What is the minimum hours we have to work in a week?
Is the work just like the ad rating for Zerochaos?

So I'm trying to apply for a bilingual, I found my native language but also only available in the country, so is that mean they don't have opening from my native language in the US? Or I just need to ask them if they have my native language in the US? Thanks!!

hi i received an email from lionbridge the other day saying that they are no longer in a position to retain my services on the mobile search reviewer program. that my contractor agreement with lionbridge is now coming to an end. they say this decision isn't related to my participation or quality of performance. anyone else receive anything like this?

I've worked 0-4 hours a week several times with no adverse action taken. Someone on another board mentioned one time that if you miss 2 months of them unable to score your work, that can be grounds for release. Since the transition to employee, however, I don't know if that's still true. You are only allowed to work up to 20 hours a week, no more than 8 hours a day. From time to time, they do offer extra hours, but it is to never exceed 24. From what I understand, the Senior Rater position is still a thing as well.
