I think Im getting fired from lionbridge after 3 and a half years of hard work and dedication. my average scores are in the 90's and I never score low but for the second time in less than a month theyve put me on review with no clear reason (after a score of 80 on needs met january). Have any of you heard of some one getting hired to leapforce after lionbridge termination? having quite the awful day over it, but fortunately I also have income from a genetic lab I work in as a student lab assistant (today i got my first fungal strain named after me :] ). I would love to keep rating as my second job while im in school. Its been such an amazing thing in my life to help me get out of the food biz.
cheers! good luck to all those rating/waiting/and taking exams!!!! theyre pretty hard things to pass!

I haven't worked for LB, but I previously worked for Leapforce and was fired in November 2016. A couple weeks later, I applied to be a personalized internet assessor with LB and was invited to move forward with the application process. However, just before I was scheduled to begin taking the exams, I received a generic email stating that they would be unable to move forward with my application. I'm not sure if it's related to this, but apparently Google wants people to wait 180 days after they stop rating for one company before they begin rating for another. So maybe my app got flagged because of that?

I have not taken the tests yet. I just rec'd the testing information today. Are you allowed to take a break during the tests? For example, can I start on Part 1 this evening and finish it tomorrow?

Has anyone ever had any luck with getting re-hired by Leapforce after previously getting fired for a bad quality review score? I was fired a few months ago and just emailed them the other day about re-taking the qualification test so I can start rating for them again. I received an email back from them stating that there were currently no opportunities for me (very vague). Does anyone know if it is ever possible to work for Leapforce again after getting fired? Or is Google basically banning everyone from working for them again once they've already worked for them once, regardless of the project?

Anyone currently working on the Nile project? It's pretty easy as it's almost entirely your own opinion about ads you may or may not want to see in your Facebook news feed. You do have a write a sentence or two with each review.
The downside is that you can only work an hour per day. Their "bake off" at the end of rating each day is a little buggy too and doesn't always work.

HI, are there any LeapForce folks around who understand what is happening with this RaterLabs announcement?

This is why you need to be careful what to say and whom to talk to no matter which rating company you work for.

I worked LF for years until a few weeks ago. The problem was NOT LF raters talking to press it was LF and Google cutting hours. U missed 1st article arstechnica.com/features/2017/04/the-secret-lives-of-google-raters/ kyle made 1 mistake alright, talking to Shelly who stabbed him in back. The 10 raters who talked to Ars told the truth, Daren used to work for Google and started LF to be a shell company like other ratings vendors so Google doesn't have to make raters employees. Microsoft and Facebook use shell companies to get out of paying benefits. Veronica, Raterlabs is name of new company from Daren. It's same as LF. Exceept now it's only part-time work. No more IC but no more 40 hours either. You can only part-time so you'll earn much less and no benefits. If Daren wants you to work, he'll email you. If no email, you've been laid off but no one told you. My state has tough labor laws so I'm out. What does that tell you. Daren is as big a snake as Shelly.

In fact, Wired also wrote about ZC employees a week before the first Ars article was published. So the topic about G rating job (work conditions and NDA) was being discussed for days. I hope you'll find something better soon.

Hi. Passed the exam for the SHASTA project. Anyone heard about it? Can't find anything about it online. does anyone know if there is much work? Also, after passing and signing documents, and they are saying reviewing paperwork, does that mean I have been accepted? Trying not to get my hopes up! Thanks in advance
