Is anyone working for this company. I applied forever ago and the other day I got a NDA to find out. I did it the day I got it but have never heard back from them. So wondered how your experience has been with them

I did a phone-based web search eval project them for a couple months (you have to live in a major US city to qualify), but just got let go because my quality was bad. Not surprised tbh; I wasn't really trying since I barely had time for it and was just squeezing in hours wherever I could.

Since there are hardly no posts in this topic, I am not sure if anyone even knows but does anyone have experience with this company? I applied for their ad evaluator job last week. I got an email with the NDA to sign yesterday. Now today I got the instructions to download the training material and start the assessment test. Just curious if this is legit or get any feedback on this company. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

I know this isn't the right forum, but since the Isoftstone thread has very few posts I figured I may have better luck posting here. Does anyone have any experience with them? I applied for their ads evaluator job last week. I signed the NDA yesterday now I just got the training material to read and steps to start the assessment test for their ALP project. Before I spend my time doing it, I am just trying to get some feedback on this company or maybe feedback from others experience. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I did web search evaluation for them, not ads, almost two years ago. So I can't speak for your project but I'll share my experience, which was a bad one. The training and testing were long and difficult but that goes for all of these jobs really (in my opinion). The communication was unacceptably bad every step of the way. I passed the grueling training (which was several stages long, if I remember correctly) and worked for two or three months and the work appeared to dry up (I think I was actually cut off) and I could never get a response as to what was happening. I never heard back from them. I just couldn't work anymore. I did get my last paycheck, so no problems there, but zero communication. My scores were acceptable based on the info given to me during the training, so it didn't appear to be a quality thing but even if it had been and I just sucked, I should have been told that. If the problem was me, I could have accepted that. I should have gotten some kind of information. It was extremely unprofessional. That's my experience. Perhaps someone else's was better.

I don't know if I'll be much help! But over two years ago I almost started with iStoftstone and then I got hired on to ZC and chose to be with them instead. I just remember iSoftstone being self paced and I had to figure out everything on my own. I never took the assessment. Also...it's Bing ads (I believe) so it's totally different than what ZC and Appen do. I will say that I do enjoy doing rater jobs! It's the perfect stay at home mom job for me...when there is work available. I say go for it if you're almost done with the process for iSoftstone!

Thanks for the info. Yea it looks like the training is set up in 3 different parts. Two practice tests, each 100 questions and then the actual assessment. It says it's a 6 month gig with a possible extension after that. I figure for $13 an hour and up to 25 hours per week I will try it out. I just wish there was more info out there about it. I found some with a Google search but they are at least a year old. So who knows. Guess I will find out soon enough.

Yea information on this particular job is hard to find. I just did 6 months with Lionbridge as an ads evaluator but was one of the unfortunate ones to be let go. I liked the work so I will probably give this a go. The work seems very similar to what I was doing. Yes this is for bing ads and not google. $13 per hour up to 25 hours a week I figure is worth giving it a shot. We will see what happens. Thank you though for sharing!!

There is frustratingly little info or discussion about that company online, I find. Mine is just one experience and I'm sure plenty of people have had decent experiences. I thought it was worth going through the training for the pay and hours too so I don't blame you. I just didn't think it was worth it for what turned out to be a couple months of work and poor treatment. Hopefully you'll have a much more pleasant experience. Good luck with your training!

I work for iSoftStone...it is legit..
the project I am on had a super slow on-boarding process after signing an NDA and doing training..
but once the job started I get frequent weekly contact from the person in charge of the project with updates and info... and they usually respond to questions they are able to answer within a day.

I applied last week, signed the NDA Monday and got all training material Tuesday. This is all for the ALP project. I'm gonna start the assessment tomorrow. Hopefully all goes well. Thanks for the info. Just not much out there about this project or company. I really appreciate it.

Signed the NDA last Thursday. Never got any training or response after that, so consider yourself lucky.

if i had to guess they like to build up a bunch of candidates for training and get them all going at once..
for my job I signed an NDA and got the next steps email like 3 weeks later, with 2 weeks of training, and a few more days so that my contract began on the first business day of the month.
