I'll be taking the LeapForce exam within the next few days. Are there any tips someone can give me? And how many chances a person is allowed? Thank you in advance!

Thanks for asking M.! Here is what I know, it's three parts, but you have a week to take it so take your time! The first two parts are quite easy but the second part is a little more challenging than the first. The last part is the most difficult because it is just like real search evaluation for them. The thing about their grading of the exam is that they tend to be looking for harsher judgements in general.... At least from what I have experienced. You do get two chances so don't stress and definitely have the guidelines out at all times just for constant reference. Every day people pass this exam and even if you fail twice they still may put you into a project that's just less busy overall it's called Yellowstone. If you get in you will love it! I know it's tough to read all of the guidelines because it is such a huge document but certainly try to review it first and you should do great! It is a tough test but I believe in YOU! I'm going to try and get some Experienced Leapforce folks in here

Thanks Rev! That really helped a lot! Your unconditional positive regard is definitely one of the best features of this forum, haha. You are more than welcome M., you will rock it! Honestly, helping and encouraging others brings a smile to my face . I know these online jobs may be small potatoes to some but in my opinion they can change your life! And, to know I assisted with that in anyway makes my day.

I took this test 5 times and passed on 1st shot each time. Best advice I can give--CTRL F IS YOUR BEST FRIEND!! Part 1-all answers are in the guidelines. Lots of similarly worded questions, but try to pick out the least common word or phrase and CTRL F it. I promise, they are ALL in there. It gets tedious, but no point in slacking now after reading 160 pages of guidelines! Part 2-page quality is kinda self explanatory. You use the internet, you kinda know if a page sucks or is high quality. This section is more stressful because it involves judgment but I liked it because it made sense. There's no absolute right answer anyway, there's a range of acceptability. Part 3 used to be search eval tasks but then changed to send to device tasks. Send to device is the last one I took anyway. Makes sense that mobile pages would need to be optimized since we all use our phones more and more but I hated these. IF YOU HAVE A BLUETOOTH KEYBOARD, USE IT. It's infinitely less frustrating than typing your responses out on your phone. Misc tip-you get an email indicating pass/fail immediately after parts 1 and 2. Part 3 you do not get until after your test period, regardless of when you finish it. So, if it gets overwhelming, log out and come back. No need to rush to get it done. I really recommend this co. I was there a couple years and the training they put on their internal site and the clear effort they put into making sure people have what they need is astounding. They won't babysit you by any means but if you pay attention, you'll have a learning curve of about 2 mos where you will feel like an idiot who gets everything wrong to one day just getting it. They provide reviews every month, the owner is constantly in the chat rooms.....I definitely did not know how good I had it until it was too late! Good luck!!!!! **I have heard rumors of task shortages and that they have changed directions lately. If that is the case I do not know, I left October last year. As of October, it is a great place to work if you need flexibility and can manage once a month payday!**

What is the pay rate for Leapforce? The pay rate is $13.50 per hour, they are a VERY nice WFH company in the sense you can work with them for years if you do it right. A few raters there have been around 6-7 years, I wish ZC was the same way.

I can see some people here with good experience in working for these co. hopefully you could give some advice on how to get a job in Leapforce.
I had applied for Yukon project (Leapforce) in the beginning of this month but I was informed that there were no opportunities for me at that time. Some days later some friends of mine applied for the very same project and I heard of them that they got the chance to qualify.
Do you guys understand what criteria do they use for hiring people? I've read many many times all the necessary skills showed in the job description (at LF website) and really believe I achieve all of them. I studied informatics and computer programming during my high school, graduated in engineering and I'm about to get my master degree also in engineering. I also have plenty of time to work on this job (including weekends). I applied for locale Brazil.
I thought I would at least have a chance to qualify, but I didn't =/ Is their process for selecting people a little bit random? I can't figure it out.

I am familiar with the Yukon Project but what is the Yellowstone Project. Is it similar to the Yukon in that the tasks are sent to device?

Hi! I am from India and working with Leapforce now. Its an amazing place to be! As for tips to pass the exam, make sure you read and reread the guidelines. Just because you are allowed to use the guidelines during the exam, don't think that you can just skim through the guidelines. Make sure you click on every single example in the guidelines....all the links. That really drives home the point! You have a week to complete the test. I read the guidelines again after each part. You can do it! Just don't take it lightly and make sure you are thorough with the guidelines.

Does anyone know how much time you can spend working on one task in, say, Exam 1? Exam 2? Exam 3? I'm struggling with words here but let's say that one task is the same as one computer page of either six questions (with the submit button on the bottom of the page). How much time do I have to complete that before it expires?

How much time do I have to complete that before it expires? Unless something has changed on the exams, there is no time limit on each question. You have a week to finish. I always tell people to take the first couple days digesting the guidelines they send you, and as another said previously, control-F is your best friend during the exams. Of course, I'm sure you're way past this now, but in case anyone else has the same question.

I just past the part 1&2 but failed on part 3 for leapforce Yukon exam last week. I am quite confused what the difference between results on left side and on right side, especially when most of them are same. And I also would like to know if I can say “duplicate” if some results on one side are the same with some on the other side. Could some one please give me some ideas before there may be a 2nd chance for me to retake it? Thanks a lot.
