It’s great to see ZC raters support each other even after July 31. Ex-ZC raters can talk about WFH jobs, support, and simply just chat here.

At last our final pay check is being processed. I guess we'll get fully paid sometime today. Yesterday at the UE office I was told the email we had received on July 31st could not be accepted as separation letter because it was an email. I'll see their decision in a few weeks.

I was able to apply online. I wasn't asked how I received notice. Just required to put a date, and the company info. I mean. It's not like they don't check with the company, anyway.

I didn't have to provide anything other than company details and date of termination. I believe it is federally mandated that employers have 14 days to reply to UE with all necessary information about your employment/termination. I noticed that my claim no longer has an active issue, so I'm assuming ZC has responded to my UE inquiry.

I filed my UE online. Then I got the email from the office telling me to bring my ID and the separation letter. It seems like the process is a little obsolete here. I wonder whether ZC sends out an official letter of separation by mail.

SO thankful for this thread. yay! I filed my unemployment online and was able to file the weekly certification on Monday. I have no idea if or when I'll start receiving pay. I'm in NC, by the way.

Hello all,
I'm a former short-term rater(2016) who had been waiting for the "hiring freeze" to lift w/ ZC since my 180days expired in April. Now that ZC is gone, LF/RL are my only hope w/ the rater world. Hope a ZC replacement pops up soon.
In the meantime I've been working as a freelance sourcer since early spring. Most leads I source are non-remote, but feel free to inbox any search requirements and I'll be sure to source any leads I have that matches. HTHs!

Hi all,
I just noticed this thread. Did ZC let go of a bunch of employees? If so, sorry to hear that. I am a former rater (August 2015-December 2016). I have been looking for a ZC replacement since I was let go.. I enjoyed it a lot but it has been a struggled trying to find a replacement.

Did anyone else get a "Timesheet Discrepancy" email just now? ZC sent me an email saying I submitted 52 hours for the week when I only worked 27. (I submitted 26 and it was already paid out.) Idiots...

Idiots... I didn't but I only worked 6 hours on our final day so there wasn't too much of a problem with them. We'll see tomorrow if everything pays out correctly!! But remember to download all of your pay-stubs just in case the site goes down or something like that - you never know.

Hey guys,
I just got the last paycheck from zerochaos and it is so much less than what I actually worked...
Is it happening to you guys too?? I'm wondering if they took some fees or something I can't figure it out....
Update for my search: radio silence from everything that I applied to so it's been so hard to not make any money and I don't get to have unemployment so it's rough. I hope you guys are luckier than me at the moment

Not much luck either. Guess I'm gonna have to get an outside job once the kids go back to school. I only heard back from Appen but it's the 1 hour position which is no good for me.
