Hey there! My name is Lawrence and I have worked from home for over a year, and was trapped in a cubicle farm in a huge call center for several years. Working at home is great! No commute, no worrying about what to wear, no fighting for a parking space. Lately my partner and I have been working at providing work from home jobs to others, while building a fun and supportive team. Hopefully I will be able to post some jobs on here

Hello fellow WFHW members! This thread will be for all members who simply wish to introduce themselves to the community. By having an introduction thread we can hopefully get to know each other on a little deeper level, so don't be shy and say hi! Share whatever you are comfortable with, and be careful because you might just make some WFH friends!
I will start this thread out with some details on myself....but where to begin!? Well, over the past 5 years I have been completely intrigued and overly excited about the idea of working from home. I guess you could say I have become enamored by the idea of being able to exit the "rat race", if you will. The freedom and luxury of working from brings me great joy, and I have been blessed to do so for some time! I love researching and learning about new online opportunities and more than anything I like sharing these opportunities with others, which is why I am here! I want to help others feel the same joy, passion and freedom that comes from a great work from home opportunity. I am here to assist you as together we build an amazing WFH community! Which, as a result, will create one of the best resources for WFH information, filled with invaluable experiences and insights. But I could never do it without you, so I can't thank you enough for being here!
Other than my absurd passion for WFH opportunities, I enjoy a good cup of coffee or five . I reside in the frozen tundra of St. Paul, MN and during the day I do my best to be one of the best bankers around! I still collect baseball cards despite being over twice the age of a normal collector. I love to jog and just this past summer I completed my first marathon. I have a degree in Psychology which is why I have such an innate desire to help others and, get such joy from doing so. Although I am not that good at it, I do enjoy drawing abstract creations when I have the time. Helping others achieve their dreams has always been one of my biggest goals in life, and if I could do anything I would love to start my own business that does just that. If you have any other questions feel free to ask me, you guys are what make this place great! But, now it is your turn , welcome to WFHW! Hi everyone! My name is Wendi and I live in the awesome city of Austin, Tx. I am looking to find a way to work from home so i have time to travel and spend time with friends and family. I love to write poetry and in 2012 i had a poem published in a poetry book. My mother also wrote poetry and in the late 90's she also had a few poems published. One day i would love to become a famous author of romance or mysteries. One of my favorite authors is Janet Evanovich. Her books are so funny and i have read all her books several times. I would love to meet her one day!! If you haven't read any of her books i would highly recommend them. She has several different seriess but my favorite ones are the numbered series about a bounty hunter. named Stephanie Plum who lives in New Jersey. The books talk about her crazy adventures on the job, her loving but crazy family, and her love triangle between her on/off again boyfriend Joe Morelli who is a cop that she grew up with and her sometimes work partner who is tall, dark, and very mysterious. She has been writing for over 20 years and is still going strong!!!!

Well, our plan is stay if we can, but we need sponsor for that, maybe we can try Canada, I love that country...or Europe, Norway, London, Germany....I don't know, the time will say. Ohhhh I'm very happy on USA, I only miss a lot moving around more...maybe we need to move to a bigger city. Hi Anabiblio! My name is Wendi. I know how hard it must have been to move your whole family to a new country to start over. I hope that you find a great place to work and raise your kids. I would love to travel abroad in the next few years. My brother just came back from a three week vacation to Amsterdam, Switzerland, and Copenhagen. He said it was the best trip of his life! I moved from a small town in central North Carolina to Austin, Tx in 2013. It was the best decision i ever made! Austin is a great place to raise a family. They have good schools, lots of job opportunities, and lots to do. Everyone here is very friendly and the weather doesnt get as cold as North Carolina in winter. There are also lots of great restaurants here!!

Hi everyone. I'm new here, but I've been working from home for nearly a decade now. I mainly do the test scoring with MI and ETS, and I was hired at TTEC but that's not going great and I've been trying to get another ads rater type gig since ZC closed down.

Hi, searchingforwork,
I used to work for Pearson and loved it. Same with ZC. Welcome to the board. I hope you find something soon.
