If it's been like 8 months since you've worked on a particular project with Appen, can you apply to work on the same project again? I'll admit I'm getting a bit desperate & have been trying to find a job this whole time since being let go during the first transition at that time with them.
I know they've basically fully transitioned, so I'm wondering if it would be any better? I've tried applying for their other positions but never get anything back. And the few times I did, after answering them back that I'm interested they said they're no longer hiring anyone else maybe not even an hour after their invite.
I keep getting denial letters from LB no matter what position I've applied for, and I'm thinking it has something to do with having worked for ZC & Appen. I then tried waiting 6 months, but then before the exam they said I've applied with my IP address before. It's very frustrating especially since I have 4 years experience in rating.
Former Aztec Raters, we changed the Leapforce/Raterlabs section to Raterlabs-Appen. We suggest that you post comments or questions about the Ar**w project there. That way, people who work for Appen doing other projects can find each other and will not be confused by the Raterlabs conversation.
I have recently had an invite for a project in Appen. And I have been offered 40% less hourly rate for than other people working in the same project in the same area...Is Appen paying a scammy hourly rate to new raters? SAD
Apparently, Appen has included a chat or similar in their system in order to avoid people posting outside in forums like this. But it like a Big Brother... anything said about the hourly rate, details about tasks could be considered violating NDA and could terminate your contract...

Received an invite to test for the Yukon project with Appen. I don't even remember applying. Anyone else? Is this an independent contractor position or traditional employee position? Anyone know the pay? Yes, I've searched the forum for information, but didn't find any answers. :/

QUESTIONS if anyone knows, thanks...
1) Has anyone gotten on a new project in the last month or two? It seems there's a dry spell or something? I have 5 "active processes" waiting, but I don't hear a thing anymore like I used to up until 1-2 mos ago.
2) What projects are you currently doing that are pretty fun &/or easy & NOT tedious to do? I'll say if anyone has the chance to do Ips**t, that's a good one.

verikarobinson: Forgive me if I'm doing this wrong but this whole discussion thing is not user friendly. I'm a business owner. Am I allowed to talk about what I do to work from home?
Sept 9, 2019 4:11:26 GMT
Muldowney: Hi, verikarobinson. You may talk about what you do from home if it's a job, such as customer service or rating. If it's an opportunity, like MLM or Get Paid to Click, no, we don't allow "opportunities." That's why I deleted your post.
