Hi guys, Measurement Inc. is looking for remote scorers for their Spring projects starting in March, they end sometime is June. Starting pay is $11.70/Hr. Must have a Bachelors. Daytime (8:15a-4:15p) or Evening shift (6p-10p) availability. Training is paid. Scored last Spring and the work is good for what it is: scoring standardized test questions in a variety of subjects. Measurement, good company too, you can made a tons of hours with them, usually 8 but sometimes they offered you a extended schedule, on December you can work from 8 to 4.30 with a non pay break, then 30 minutes for break again until 9.30, that was optional. Usually you don't need to schedule your hours, you confirm availability for the month and then you can work the hours yo want or you can. It is some different from ETS, with them you have a rigid schedule.
Actually I am wondering the same...scheduling maybe tough but it would be a good amount of work during "scoring" season. Anyone have experience working for both companies? I am in the process of getting setup with ETS as we speak.
Thanks for stopping by WFHW! In this corner of the internet you will quickly learn new ways to make money from home and maybe... just maybe, you will make some great friends in the process!
I applied for MI a year ago and took the two assessments. I guess I didn't pass? Because I never heard anything back from them. Any how, I applied for them again because of the ZeroChaos mess and I need another WAH egg. How does the app process work for MI now?
For measurement Inc if you sign up for a block of hrs you have to work those hours. With ETS you can cancel but Measurement they frown upon too much absences in the beginning because you just started. Last year I scored 3-5 grade math and loved it. It was 6-10 Mon-Fri.
They sent me an email yesterday saying I was accepted into this years returning pool.
I put in an app today for this company, because I like to have several different gigs in the off-season, other than accounting (I like to mix things up a bit, and sometimes the off-season can be lean money-wise. They have already sent me the assessments, so I guess I will take them tomorrow. I listed my availability as AFTER tax season, and I understand it is seasonal too, but it still might help fill in some gaps.
Got an answer back from Measurements, Inc. - they said they will interview me when scoring season begins again and thanked me for my proof of degree and my assessment tests. Math was a joke - I just picked whatever I wanted, I absolutely had no clue and I swear we never did math like this when I was a kid. Or we did and I didn't pay attention and that's why I did so badly on the assessment!
Yeah, I passed their assessments, they told me I was hired, I got all the I-9 crap done, and they haven't contacted me since. I have emailed a couple of times since, but no response. But I am also on with ETS and Leapforce, so I have plenty of work.

verikarobinson: Forgive me if I'm doing this wrong but this whole discussion thing is not user friendly. I'm a business owner. Am I allowed to talk about what I do to work from home?
Sept 9, 2019 4:11:26 GMT
Muldowney: Hi, verikarobinson. You may talk about what you do from home if it's a job, such as customer service or rating. If it's an opportunity, like MLM or Get Paid to Click, no, we don't allow "opportunities." That's why I deleted your post.
